Chris LeDoux
Chris LeDoux spent many summers as a teenager dreaming about a CFD™ championship buckle. After moving from Texas, Chris spent his teenage years in Cheyenne, and graduated from Central High School. His first real shot at Cheyenne Frontier Days™ was at the age of 19. After a disappointing ride, Chris came back in 1974, but missed the bareback championship by 1 point. Chris went on to win the 1976 PRCA World Championship Bareback Bronc rider title. Playing and performing country music while on the rodeo circuit, Chris wrote about his life as a cowboy. His songs captured the romance and freedom of cowboy life, and the fans responded. He has sold nearly six million records in the 12 albums he has released with Capitol Records. Chris LeDoux has performed at the Cheyenne Frontier Days™ night show five times since 1993.
