Fred Lowry
From Lenapah, Oklahoma, Fred Lowry was a mainstay of Cheyenne Frontier Days™ and dean of steer ropers from 1916 to the 1930s. He captured a CFD Calf Roping championship in 1921 and six CFD Steer Roping championships in 1916, 1921, 1924, 1925, 1927 and 1929.
