Corky Warren
Corky Warren became involved with the rodeo team while he attended Colorado State University. Joining the PRCA in 1958, Corky went on to qualify for the National Finals Rodeo three times in his career. A highlight of his career was winning the All Around Championship and the Calf Roping Championship at Cheyenne Frontier Days™ in 1968, setting a money record that year. He competed at Cheyenne Frontier Days™ for 14 years and placed many times. He has won the calf roping at the Denver National Western in 1978, the all-around, steer wrestling and team roping at the St. Paul, Oregon rodeo and many others. Corky retired in 1980, but was drawn back to the Senior Pro Rodeo Association in 1992. As a senior steer roper, Corky has won the Senior Pro Rodeo All Around Championship twice and the World Championship Steer Roping title three times. He is the 2005 Cheyenne Frontier Days™ Senior Steer Roping Champion. Among all of his wins, his proudest and best recognized are his wins at Cheyenne Frontier Days™.
