Enid and The Lummis Family

In April, 1998, when the Air Force was told it could no longer hold the Thunderbirds Air Show over the Cheyenne Airport, Doran gave permission for the show to take place over the Lummis ranch. The jets still perform their aerial stunts over his pasture to this day. All the Lummis children have been involved in CFD being placed in the parades wherever Enid needed them throughout their childhoods. Chris was a Dandy and has been a valued member of the W-Heels since 1979, served on the Carriage Coordinating Committee and employed by the CFD offices in 1970. Claudia helped provide bulls for the bull-riding and teams of horses for the parades. Current Wyoming congresswoman Cynthia was Miss Frontier. Del worked with Paul Bruegmann driving teams for the parades. In the 80's Del volunteered at the roping shoot with Jim Mueller for several years.
