Roy Clark
Roy Clark is an award-winning country music singer whose resume of activities in the entertainment industry is long and colorful. He entertained at Cheyenne Frontier Days™ in 1972, 1973, and 1976, often appearing at other Cheyenne venues when not on the Cheyenne Frontier Days™ stage, much to the enjoyment of his many fans. He hosted the show HEE HAW for 23 years and appeared on many other shows, including becoming the first country music artist to guest host “The Tonight Show” for Johnny Carson. Roy Clark has received many top honors including being named the first National Ambassador for UNICEFF and winning the prestigious “Entertainer of the Year” award from both the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association. Roy Clark has always been a vehement supporter and promoter of Cheyenne Frontier Days™.
