Trevor Brazile
Trevor Brazile was taught by his father, a professional rodeo cowboy, to be an all-around ranch hand, learning how to rope calves, and catch steers. Because of this family heritage, Trevor began roping and riding at an early age. He joined the PRCA when he was 20 years old in 1996. As a contestant at Cheyenne Frontier Days, Trevor holds 10 big wins. He won Team Roping in 2012 and Steer Roping Champion in 2000, 2001, and 2013. In 2014, he entered the finals in first place and he won the Tie-Down Championship and more money than any other competitor at that year. Trevor has four All-Around Cowboy wins at CFD in 2000, 2002, 2017, and 2018. In addition to CFD, Trevor has an impressive PRCA record with multiple big wins. He set records in lifetime earnings, single-season earnings, and became the third cowboy to win more than one Triple Crown. In 2003, Trevor became the first cowboy to qualify for the NFR in four events: tie-down roping, steer roping, and team roping as both header and heeler. Trevor holds the records for most all-around titles and world titles. He currently has 23 world titles, which includes 13 all-around world titles and more than 10 individual world championships in team roping, tie-down roping and steer roping. He has qualified for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo 51 times. Currently, he is ranked 2nd in 2018 RAM World Standings All Around and is ranked 6th in the 2018 PRCA RAM World Standings Steer Roping. Trevor has worked hard for his success. In his early rodeo career he had few wins and low payouts and had to earn his way to the top. Trevor claims that a lot of winning is mental; you have to be positive and realistic. When Trevor and his family are not on the road traveling from rodeo to rodeo, they run a ranch in Decatur, Texas that produces some of the most sought-after American Quarter horses in the rodeo world.
