Freckles Brown

Born in Lingle, Wyoming Warren “Freckles” Brown won Cheyenne Frontier Days™ Bull Riding Championships in 1957 and 1960. For many years at Cheyenne, he helped pull ropes, get young riders ready and served as their advisor. In 1962, he was National All-Around Cowboy. In 1967, he rode a bull named tornado and was the first to stay on it after it had thrown 220 other professional riders. Freckles also served as Cheyenne Frontier Days™ Parade Marshal in 1984.
