Crooked Nose
Crooked Nose fought in Cheyenne for 9 years. Born with a disfigured face and having to have a horn removed after his first fight in 1983, he was considered the #1 fighting bull when Wrangler designed the bull fighting program. Crooked Nose learned how to whip his head over with that one horn when the bullfighters would try and work his offside where his horn was gone. He was quick for such a big bull. The bullfighters would say when he was hot on their tail that he sounded like a freight train in their back pocket. The bullfighters gave him his name “Crooked Nose.” Wick Peth, along with many of the top bullfighters thought he was the best fighting bull of their era. Crooked Nose was the first fighting bull ever inducted into the Pro Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
